Eileen: I'm not from the Cleveland area, but saw a reference to your post on the 911neverforget site. I have been sending emails to a number of people, Mitch McConnell, a candidate for U. S. Senate, Michelle Malkin, Tim on the 911 site, and have not heard back about my thinking on this issue. The U.S. Congress has the power under the Constitution to change the jurisdiction of the various U.S. Courts. I would like to see legislation introduced to take away the jurisdiction of the federal U.S. District Court to try the terrorists. Even if it did not pass, it would tell people where their representatives stand. I don't know if that has already been tried, the stuff I read is basically contact your legislators so they can pressure the administration. Thats not enough. -- Paul

Editor -- We agree that such legislation should be introduced and will continue to encourage Members of Congress to introduce it; we ask our fellow Americans to do the same of their representatives.

I live in Lakewood, Ohio and want to do everything in my town and the Cleveland area to send the message that I do not agree with the decision to allow the 9/11 terrorists to be tried in a civil court in New York city or anywhere. We as Americans can not let this happen. It is an abomination. If you live in the Cleveland area please contact me.

It has not been a full year yet with this atrocity of a President that me and every person I know, including my co-workers, that what we are witnessing is a liar and a traitor that, with the help of the mainstream media, has pulled the wool over the voting public and will go down in history as the worst President this great country has ever seen. He is a very cunning and conniving sort which we all now can see has radical ideals to bring this country down to its knees. He is not for America or what she stands for. The fact that this President would order the trial of these terrorist in NYC rather than allowing our Military to dispense justice should tell all Americans what they need to know about this man. He is evil and has no integrity. I pray his treasonous acts will one day soon catch up to him and for all his cronies.

This trial cannot take place. I think it is being done to create the "crisis" they need to tighten the noose around our necks. And it is makeing me increasingly frustrated that all of us: 300 million Americans are being controlled by a few -- and that few are NOT our betters. What we need to do first (I think) is to decide: this is not going to happen.

If there is a larger protest somewhere it ought to be a silent one. That would unnerve them, because at their core, they are cowards. No pleading speeches: addressing them tells them you still think they can tell you how you are going to exist in your country. Think about this: they cannot have a trial if no one serves on the jury. But this should be stopped NOW. Who, in New York signed on for this: you might point out to them all the lost revenue from tourists there will be while their city is turned into an armed camp.

Editor -- In part, I agree with you; we have to inform the American people and have them tell their Members of Congress that this will not happen. And we must not be silent as without the public raising their voices loudly to protest the decision, it will happen (and the administration knows that). Yet, in a city so large, I doubt a boycott by the entire jury pool is possible.

The Michigan Coalition to Stop Gitmo North salutes your efforts and stands in solidarity with your campaign, America's imperative. We admire your courage and resolve, giving voice to your loved ones and all who perished in the terror attacks of 9/11. You also give voice to all Americans who do not want our justice system perverted to become a platform for savages sworn to destroy us. Our nation can ill afford the security risks and financial costs of closing Guantanamo Bay and bringing KSM, his co-defendants and the 200-plus remaining Gitmo terror suspects to American soil!

My wife and I are very angry at the Obama administration and feel that we are not being protected by them. It seems that all they understand and all they want is more and more power over us. They have chosen to hold firm to their "vision" with total disregard to who they serve. We the people. The President of the United State's number one job is to keep us safe. He is failing to understand this important duty, possibly because he is blinded by his personal agenda of socializing our society. I sincerely hope that all those who put their faith in him by voting for him have seen that he was full of empty promises that he has not fulfilled. And I hope that the citizens of this great nation answer him by voting against anyone who supports him in this effort to try terrorists as United States Citizens. There is a lot more that I could say, but let me leave it with this comment to all elected officials. Beware of what is coming your way if you continue to make these terrible decisions. We will not continue to take your disregard for us.

Sincerely, Gary Frost

My family And I strongly oppose the granting to foreign terroists the same rights granted to citizens of the United states of America, a trial in the U.S. Court system to be judged by a jury of their peers. Shame on Eric Holder and the Obama administration .
